🔥THE HOT LIST🔥
A list of my favorite books of all time!
01
1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
This story is full of surprises, there is never a
dull moment. This SciFi read will have you
questioning your own reality. Read this if you
are an intermediate SciFi fan looking to turn it
up a notch!

02
Heavy by Kiese Laymon
Laymon digs deep in this brutally honest memoir.
Reading his work gives a firsthand account of what it
means to be black, what it means to be overweight
and what it means to feel heavy, mentally, emotionally
and physically. This is a read for all, but fair warning,
it's raw and laced with some hard pills to swallow.
03
Magical Thinking by Agusten Burroughs
I literally laughed out loud! This read will have
your sides splitting at some of the hilarious anecdotes
and commentary. This memoir makes light
of some dark moments, by keeping us laughing.
A read for all levels.

04
Ten Women by Marcela Serrano
If you haven't gotten into translated works yet, this
is a good starting point. It's told from an intriguing
perspective, one that nearly mirrors an anthology, but
maintains continuity. This read explores the many
dimensions of women in an exhilarating way.
05
Before I go to sleep by S.J. Watson
This thriller will make your heart race
and your breath quicken. I could not put
it down! You may be able to knock this
one out in one sitting, yes, it is THAT good.
Thrillers are great for new readers, they
capture your attention and build your
interest!
